Do we buy unused inkjet and toner?

Yes, we do buy all surplus and unused ink and toner.

What items do you buy back?

Trading Connection, Inc. collects and recycles U.S. origin inkjet and toner cartridges for most printers, copiers, fax machines and all-in-one printers.

Does Trading Connection, Inc. pay the shipping, costs?

Yes. We will pay for shipping charges subject to the following guidelines and authorized freight quote. Trading Connection, Inc. waives the right to pay shipping fees unless your shipment meets the following criteria: All items must be listed on the buy-back list. If your items do not appear on the list, contact us before shipping it. Trading Connection does not pay for shipping accessorial fees (Lift-gates, Residential pickups, etc.). Any shipping surcharges will be deducted from your final balance. All toner and inkjet cartridges must pass our inspection for condition and place of origin. We do not pay for starter cartridges (unless otherwise noted).

Where do I ship my cartridges?

Ship your inkjet and laser cartridges to Trading Connection, Inc., at the address listed above. We will supply you with shipping labels.

What is the best way to ship my cartridges?

First, package you items securely for shipping. Add newspaper, bubble wrap or any other lightweight filler to ensure that the contents will not shift. The shipping method will depend on the size of your shipment. For large-volume accounts with loading docks, boxes should be packed on pallets and shrink-wrapped. We will send you a Bill of Lading, and shipping labels upon notification that an order is ready to ship. For medium- to small-volume accounts, items can be shipped to us via UPS. We will send you the label(5) upon notification that an order is ready to ship.

What happens if items are damaged during shipping?

If the damage Is the fault of our shipping company, Trading Connection, Inc. will file a freight claim and absorb the loss. If the cartridge damage is due to improper packing, then shipping fees will be the responsibility of the sender. Trading Connection does NOT pay for broken cartridges. To ensure proper packing, add newspaper, bubble wrap or any other lightweight filler so the contents do not shift.

When will I be paid and how?

We make every attempt to have payments sent out within 21 business days of receiving your order. All shipments must have a valid Purchase Order Number In order to be received and paid. Please check our Buy Back Price List, as prices can change without notice. Then contact Trading Connection to obtain a Purchase Order number, and the appropriate shipping labels.

What is a U.S. origin cartridge?

A U.S. origin cartridge is an OEM Cartridge intended for first sale in, and first sold in, the United states.

What is the difference between virgin and non-virgin cartridges?

Virgin cartridges are empty inkjet and toner cartridges that have NEVER been refilled. Non-virgin cartridges are empty inkjet and toner cartridges that have been previously refilled.

What is a compatible cartridge?

Compatible cartridges usually cannot be remanufactured. Many times these cartridges have casings different from the EM cartridges. Trading Connection does NOT pay for compatible cartridges.
